I guess some of you will already know this if you follow der8auer, but bclk overclocking is possible with 12th gen non K. There are a couple of caveats of course, but still...

If the mobo's with good features wouldn't be so expensive, I'd already run a non-K 12th gen due to der8auer!

I'm just happy to see genuinely innovative products coming from both sides. Cpu's are exciting again!
Yeah, nice to shake things up. However the mobo pricing takes a wee bit of the shine off it, like Rasmus says. (I can only guess that the extra wiring for the memory and PCIe lanes plays some role but the new CPUs still have fewer pins than server units from recent years and it feels like the matching server mobos were cheaper than the current gaming ones!)
