Own Server did not work correctly

Hello i have a question/problem with my dedicated server.

When i start the server it shows up in the serverlist and i can join the server. All Settings are like i set them. But if i leave the box, it says diretcly the the connection to the server is lost.
Also in the server list there is no ping shown.

Could someone give me a hint what to do?

Can you post your server settings?
Have you opened up your ports correctly?

While collecting information for answer i found that UDP was missing in firewall.
