Paddles shift not working

Hi. Has anyone experienced similar like me?
The game detects my paddle shifters in the osw wheel (Sam Maxwell customs for more clarity) and also detects my h patthern but when playing only the h pattern works.
It's the only game this happens.
I can't find anything on Google about it.

I gave up and kept playing AC

Choose custom wheel, setup all your inputs and hey presto H patter works as do paddle shifters

Yeah I would add them to the input settings if youve not tried that. basically repair that button to your flappy paddles!

I had the same issue when selecting Fanatec DD2 as the wheel type. This was the only way that I could assign the steering axis initially. Later I somehow worked out how to get it working with the custom wheel setting and there the paddles worked in game as well.
