19-year old, Patricio O'Ward finds a new home at Carlin IndyCar and will participate in 13 races of the NTT IndyCar Series. He will share the #23 entry with Charlie Kimball, whom will contest only 5 races in the season, and drive in a third entry for the upcoming Indianapolis 500.
He will miss out St. Petersburg, Texas, Pocono and Laguna Seca. The 2018 Indy Lights Champion competed in the 2018 Sonoma Grand Prix with Harding Racing, where he qualified in the Firestone Fast-Six and finished in the top 10 in an impressive debut with the team.
