F1 2011 Pc screen lag/low FPS

Hi guys, my install of 2011 has become a nightmare to watch, the fps for some reason have dropped really low and its unplayable, the 2012 demo is fine and runs very well, I have a powerful machine so its not that, I,m sure I remember reading something that a certain setting can cause this problem?,

Has anyone had this problem and been able to fix it?.

What video card(s) do you have and also which driver you are using ?
