I made the plunge over Christmas time and bought the console version in the xbox sale. I've got to say....I don't think it's as bad on console as some people make out. It doesn't look as good and freezes occasionally but the whole running at 30fps isn't all that bad. Only time I've had it struggle is when it is raining and I've had a day night cycle at the same time. Other than that still fun and playable.
