Played Vanilla for a while now looking to modding.

Hi ive had this game a while now and only really played Vanilla,Im looking to modding the game.

I seen a mod called LA canyons and it looked stunning.

Can some one keep me right on modding:

I need to install Content manager first, how much is this?
Then i need to Install SOL (for weather addons) ?
Then Install the LA canyond Mod.

Can you search for mods via content manager?
Should I install anything before i do any of the above?
Any good mods that you can recommend?
Do these Mods still work with the V3 Motion Simulator?

I have tried LA Canyons (pretty good!) but I don't have Content Manager or SOL (though I hear good reports about both).
It's possible that I'm missing out on some features of LAC but I enjoy the driving more than the visuals so I'm not hugely concerned.

Installing content mods (cars & tracks) is just a matter of copying folders into the right directory, it's dead easy and requires no tools or programs.

Every other big mod like Sol and the Custom Shader Patch needs a little more, BUT they all come with extensive readme files that tell you exactly what to do.

Content Manager is a great tool to use AC with many mods installed, but to this day it seems to have issues installing the big mods (like Sol) automatically. Better go the manual route.

I have only just started doing this myself with AC, definitely get Content Manager its a no brainer really and worth donating to unlock all the features. There is lots of guides on Youtube on how to add mods but it is very straight forward.
