Please help - losing engine power over a stage - WHY?!

Hi,

Ever since I've had the game, I've had this problem whereby after a couple of stages into 1 rally, the engine suddenly loses power, and the engine noise goes all strained, as if the airbox is blocked or something.

Even if i'm proper careful with the gears, making sure not to overrev (I use auto clutch) and drive carefully with no damage, it still happens.
I don't know whether its me or the game, does anyone here know?

I'd appreciate any input - its getting really annoying!

This is possibly a known bug.

Check this thread at BHMS, it sounds similar to your problem. There may be some other good info and/or a fix over there too.
