port forwarding STOCK CARS EXTREME FOR TELSTRA BIGPOND

Hi iam New To This port forwarding and would like to be able two host my own dedacated server as me and a mate would like two race but everytime we do it its got session timed out I have read alot about it and it says to port foward sertin ports i DO get this and i do see some number TCP port 34747 with multiplayer.ini as
34597 and 34697 by default need to be opened. You need to open from these two UDP numbers upwards for each server you have open. BUT ON TELSTRA I HAVE THIS JUST WOUNDERING WHERE DO I STICK THESE NUMBERS AS I HAVE LAN PORT AND WAN PORT I NO I NEED TO PUT MY ISP IN THE DESTERNATION PART JUST NOT SURE WHAT GOES IN THE WAN PORT AND LAN PORT AS IV TRYED THERS NUMBER WITH NO LUCK IF SOME ONE COULD HELP ME IT WOULD BE VERY MUCH APRESHEATED THANKS
