Post Deleted Because of "Recruiting for other website/league"

I'd rather not make a thread for this but I don't know who to contact.

A thread in the Automobilista forum queried why online AMS competition was so hard to find. I posted two sentences and a link to an AMS league. RD deleted the post for the reason cited in the thread title.

I'm not annoyed but I do think that deleting my post was a shade draconian. I was simply trying to help someone who was looking to race online in a sim where online participation is elusive. RD's own Automobilista races are less frequent than they used to be, hence my suggestion.

I was not "recruiting" (a needlessly officious term) but answering a question. Full disclosure: I'm a member of the league I mentioned but it's the only online AMS racing community I know of, apart from this one.

More to the point, how is anyone supposed to ask or answer a similar question regarding any sim without flouting RD's rules? Is the subject taboo?
