Your mirrors doesn't seem to work from the pictures....a classical issue !

Don't forget to swap your mirrors UVs, so the left one is at [0.5 - 1] UVspace instead of logical [0 - 0.5] when you 'back project' your 2 UV mirrors.
Anyways, nice SG [Max]/Smooth Edges [Maya Talk]

Try to lower reflectivity & set a custom specular color (violet/orange...) + some TOD/sunny/cloud tweaks.

What about faking another UV channel just offsetting the body hull some 0.0001 proportionally in all direct° ?
