A haiku is a three-line meditation in a particular form.

Specifically, it has seventeen syllables["on" actually], arranged like this:

seven
five

Other forms may be nice, but they aren't haiku. Google 'haiku' for over ten million references(!), at least one of which should tell you whatever you might like to know.

Here's one to start it off:

Pass on the inside
uhoh the curb is so high
maybe good to wait

I made a change by taking a word out of the second line to make it 7 syllables.
