Pricing of Fanatec gear

Do you think it is reasonable? Because I mean their shifter costs as much as Logitech 29 wheel and I think it should be similar to what G25 costed back in the day and I have been using it for more than 10 years now, still working fine. So for that I would expect to have shifter with some kind of force feedback, the same goes for the pedals.

really good for around 100 bucks or 90 euros. I've got one recently and it's really good.

I really like the look of their gear (I am using all Thrustmaster gear atm) and am tempted to treat myself to something better than my T500/T3PA-Pro/TH8R setup. The price fits in my 'justifiable' range, but I seem to read so many stories about reliability, and there doesn't seem to be anything else in that price bracket - better than a toy but cheaper than DD

I've read them too and that's sort of why i feel i want to reply on this. I've used mine (CWS 2, CSP 3, 2 universal hubs + the McLaren GT3 wheel and the SQ 1,5 shifter) for three years now - well not the GT3 wheel obviously. The only minor reliability problems i've had so far is one of the uni hub buttons that''s a bit unresponsive from time to time. I had one of their handbrakes for a while, where the small plastic tab that spins the potentiometer broke off. It wasn't too hard to fix that by myself though.

It might just be that i've been lucky and that they have - or have had - a not so flawless quality control, but anyway i thought i'd share an overall positive experience (IMO) too.

I went from Fanatec CSR to Thrustmaster TX and went back to Fanatec CSW 2.5. I've never had any issues with either Fanatec, but the TX was replaced once and then repaired once. Still working now (I assume) but each time I used it there was a worry that it wouldn't last an endurance race. Probably just put the kiss of death on my 2.5 now...

Just remembered that one of the buttons on my TM F1 rims stopped working too...

Fine, certainly if you look at the pricetag. My fanatec css broke down twice before I bought the the shh. Did a mazda mx5cup series with it. Performed as expected every second of my seattime.
