Problem turning in rfactor

Just got rfactor today playing with a joystick and the tires can't turn nearly aswell as I wanted it to be plus smoke comes out of it. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please help?

It is kind of hard to explain since I'm still fairly pretty new to sim racing. But for some reason when I first tried the game my wheels can't turn there maximum capabilities. I'm also using an xbox one controller just so you know. (sorry for the late reply)

Go to SETTINGS/CONTROLS/RATES Look for SPEED SENSITIVITY. change the slider to 80%
