Problem with championship resume

i dont't know if this is a common problem...
but i made a custom championship: when I finish the qual, i wait for the race screen, then I quit
when I resume the championship, I always start from 12th position, ever was my qualifying, and all the grid are shuffled
what I wrong...?
The solution, for now, is race both qual and race in the same session...

i replay to myself...
i raced a qualifying session, i had a certain starting grid, and I click next session: the race screen appears, with the correct order
At this point, the game has created the .cch file in userata/"myname" folder: if I open it, I notice that the starting grid is shuffled
If I exit from the race session, and I resume, the race will start with the grid in the cch file wich is totally wrong... and I always start from 12th position...
I tried to edit, I can manually order the IA cars, but I can't modify my starting position...
Is there a tutorial how to edit this files?
Now, the solution is to do both qual and race in the same session...
