Problem with lights

I'm having a problem with the lights in some cars. They appear as a star (?). I'm using racer 0.8.38b and my graphics card is a GTS250. I've tried to use the no-cg racer.exe but that didn't work.

Hi,
look in to the car.ini (open with notepad or equal) scroll down to the flares section and change for the front lights the color code to this:

color=40 40 40

rear lights:

color=238 0 0

...for example...
