Ok big question as i haven't a satisfactory answer. How do you troubleshoot an error on a car or a track? In rfactor you had the trace thingy which was very helpful on finding errors, what about assetto? Is there a way? When i load some cars i get a acs_x86.exe error and get kicked back to menu again, no log is created as the directory is empty. I am runing 1.4.3, original steam, no dlcs. So, any thoughts?

But the game doesn't work with any car and track? Try an official car and track (non-dlc) in Practice mode. And try with force 32-bit turned off.
Also check if the game resolution is correct, if not try some else.
Verifying cache integrity on steam can also help, steam library - game properties - local files tab.
