PS4 controller

Game simply refuses to recognise my PS4 controller. via USB cable.

So I simply did the easy thing and uninstalled it.

Had a great time paying it, but there are a lot of things that show this company is a bit behind the times, this pad works on every other game I use it on, just not with them.

Are you playing WF through Steam? Steam has some powerful, if a bit clunky, tools to natively run PS4 controllers without drivers and provide an emulation layer for Steam games to see it as a standard XInput controller
I don't have a PS4 controller, but I am doing the same thing with a Switch Pro controller
