PC2 PS4 or Xbox

So I have PC2 for the Xbox and I don't play it as much as I would like for a couple reasons. First, the MP experience is just down right unbearable 90% of the time. Second, I can't calibrate my G920. The wheel is brand new. I have a PS4 and am in the process of building a gaming PC. I was wondering if I should get PC2 for the PS4, and if there is a bigger community playing on PD4? Or should I just suck it up and wait until my PC is finished and get it on Steam?
 
As much as I love Project Cars 2 it doesn´t make much sense to switch to any of the different platforms if you just want online racing on open servers.
If your schedule doesn´t allow you to join clubs or leagues the only sensible titles/services to get somehow clean online racing with random people are SRS or iRacing on the PC side and GT Online for the PS4 in my opinion.
