Question about downloads

SO i downloaded a few track mods 1 from no grip racing and one from the site. I opened the files and put them into the race 07 game data location folder. Is that where i'm supposed to put them? They are not showing up in game, unless are they in a particular spot in game? I've looked at the tracks for race weekend and they weren't there. Please could someone help.
