Incidents:

#1
Driver(s) Involved: Karol Poniatowski, Jack Keithley

Lap/Replay Time: Lap 14 / 24:14

Protest Description: Jack Keithley takes his normal line into turn 2 but Karol Poniatowski attempts a pass on the inside of the corner which results in both cars spinning and loosing five positions.

Review: Poniatowski is following Keithley in T1-2. Keithley takes a slightly wide entry line in to T2 to try to get a better run on De Wit ahead of him. Poniatowski attempts to pass Keithley on the inside, but there is not enough room and they make contact. Both cars spin and lose multiple positions.

Verdict: 1.0 Penalty Points for Karol Poniatowski.
#2
Driver(s) Involved: Dewit against Saxen.

Lap/Replay Time: 4:33 and 34:10

Protest Description: Dewit hits Saxen on 2 occasions which could have been avoided.

Reviews:

Incident #1: De Wit is following Poniatowski in to the 2nd to last corner. He brakes late, passes Poniatowski and is alongside Saxen. De Wit runs a few car widths wide, causing slight contact with Saxen, and for Saxen to lose the position.

Incident #2: Saxen is following De Wit out of T6. He moves on the inside to pass De Wit, when De Wit suddenly swerves in to Saxen, causing contact and for Saxen to back off.

Verdicts:

Incident #1: Racing Incident.

Incident #2: 0.5 Penalty Points for Patrick De Wit. This manouver was very dangerous, if Saxen had received any damage or loss of positions/time, the penalty would have been much more severe.

Fair enough....
great job
sorry John

Oh jesus, just got the info via e-mail in terms of the wrong file - sorry for that, is it able to send the right one later the day and get away the penalty??

well, we both Jack and me talked after the race and came shortly to the decision = racing incident. So I finally dont understand why I got penelized?!?

best regards Karol

In the original post I mentioned that you could send the proper file up until last sunday, but it didn't arrive so I had to apply the penalty. I only allowed this opportunity because we had the issue of re-scheduling the race and there might be some confusions there regarding file submit.

It was protested by the team so I had to judge it as I saw it.
