Not done Puebla in a long time - is it something with my set up or is it incredibly slippery? If I apply full throttle out of every corner the car slides wide like I'm driving in the wet on slicks?

nope, I have found nothing that really helps, I have to run very low front camber to prevent temps on lap one going through the roof, and forget braking through the corners too deep.... that cooks up the tyres too... really need to just be so smooth and pop the apex on every turn or you end up spinning the wheels or slipping massively... diff settings are hard too, set too tight and you get pushed too wide on the gas on exit all the time and too loose and wheel spin forever...

Sorry i'm out ,tweaked my back after working under the house today, have fun.

"If more than 10 people" comments put people off even considering signing up let alone bothering to check, I'm not having a go at the two who have said this just pointing out that we should either commit or not commit, like we used to.

I may not be there for practice, as I have a few things to sort out before, I may get lapped by the whole field, but I will do my best and I WILL join towards the end of practice or during qualy. I would be grateful if someone could upload a setup (not on RD).

I understand the rules.

I hope we can bring the racing club back to life.

Edit - Tony its officially confirmed I WILL be one of the 6!!!

Thankyou for the setup Gunther - I'm still slow and its still like driving on an oily track!

Anyone in UK looking at this bear in mind GMT is 1 hour behind BST so this race actually starts at 10am for us in the UK, so you still have 40 mins before race start!

This is my first race back after quite a while since my slow comp was making it impossible to race big grids with acceptable frame rates. Upgrade complete so all systems go! Brno is one of my favourite tracks so a good way to come back. :)

Bad luck Dan!

Practice went well as I cut 1.5 seconds off my 17 laps practice I did yesterday.
Qual got a good time but not quite as fast as P2 1.34.3xx
R1 started from pole and lead to the finish with ~20 second lead I think...
R2 Started poorly and needed to catch up, got in behind Mikhail and rolled around till 10 minutes left, then went into lead on T1 and finished 5.7 seconds up in 1st.

I have avoided this track for 3 years, not super keen to see it for a bit now

Thx to those that turned up and thx to RD...

Maybe and surely the track I like the most, so I won't miss it !:) I'll drive the Honda for a change and give a little variety

I had a very boring first race, which however ended up with a totally destroyed tires.

Second race was much more rich -- I hold Gunthar for quite a while, trying to keep tires alive, but finally a mistake under braking throwed me back.

Thank you all for racing and see you again.

Don't think there is one, track on the server is 06 so I assume it was just a typo on the topic title.

Yeah I always get this on Puebla, there is no grip to be had. Any other track I would have signed up for but I can't stand sliding around :(
