i know the track but i cant provide a stable setup till now had no run with any of the 2 cars
had just runned the audi a while back on the chicaned version but as a mark you should be able to go on the gas middle of the chicane, and you need to adjust the car that you can brake hard while turning for 'The Corner' befor the Hairpin maybe i can post one later
but not sure if i can make it as i have today my RDGTC race at the hell

Okay, Thank guys that would be great for me. I will start this evening with a little bit practice, but I think these babies are hard to drive..

If posting setups, please let me remind you of the fact that i'm a trial member and cannot access all pages (yet). Otherwise Ejwsoeters@hotmail.com is also okay, but it would be better if all (trial) drivers could access these setups...

Getting nervous already.. My 1st race (Radical on Albi track) was not really a succes due to blocking car in turn one which cost me and a collegue at least 20 seconds... But I had fun :).

One more additional question: If I want to import the skin of other players. Where do I put these?

DOUBLE EDIT: Gary ... can you stick me on the list in whichever balances things out, would love to do this but not sure I can actually make it (Christmas stuff to sort out) ... if the event fills up, punt me out on to the reserves would you ... and apologies up front if I don't make it, will try to post if I know its not happening for certain tho. :wink2:

One more additional question: If I want to import the skin of other players. Where do I put these?

If you have Steam version they go in here mate:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\[steamusername]\race 07\CustomSkins

If its the normal version, I guess it is
C:\Program Files\race 07\CustomSkins

... and don't be nervous, these are "fun events", just enjoy and try to drive safe mate :good:

BTW ... if you haven't done Rouen before, take a while to learn the track, maybe try to grab a default setup from another track that has a similar feel to it ... try a Zandvoort or Brands Hatch for a start, that might help?
Otherwise, on the setup, I tend to find taking the default and softening the front end does ok for a short race :)

EDIT: I tend to shift the brakes back a little too, but that's just down to personal preference I guess.

2nd Race I started 2nd, and blew turn 1. Rejoined about 8th, and then manged to go off again on the back side when I braked too hard to avoid someone. That put me 11th.

Thaaaaat may have been me. I saw you spin in my rear view around the hairpin. I didn't think I had caused it or I would have stopped :disapointed:

1st race I somehow managed to turn a 1:26.48 and started 9th, before too long I was back in the back of the pack(But not last! Forgot who got knocked out for good).

2nd race I started 11th of 12, managed to squeeze up to 7th at one point, then got nervous and lost focus and dropped back down to 11th due to mistakes(12th got knocked out). I suffered 2 flats, front and rear aero damage, suspension damage, and nearly ran out of fuel that race. 2 looooong pit stops.

Again thanks for the races guys! I learned a lot.
