My wife has just been called out to work so I'll have to stay in with the kids and get them bathed and into bed:neutral:.

I'm not sure I'll get done in time so please release my spot to the next poster David. I don't want to risk wasting a spot so I'll sit out todays and hopefully be with you guys next week:).

Sorry again and I hope someone can get my spot and have some fun:good:.

I have minimal internet activity when racing. Msn open sometimes in the background, but usually switch it off. Other than that, no other apps are using the internet except the game, my firewall and the anti virus.

Could be the firewall thinking about it actually. Anyone got any experience with zonealarm causing any lag problems in gaming?

If my memory is correct, you said that you use a wireless LAN connection.

If this is correct, then there're many external sources of corruption on your connection resulting in dropped packets, this will appear as 'lag'.

Microwaves, cell/mobile phones, hair driers, anything that gives off an electronic field will have an effect altho it's principally anything within the 2.4GHZ or 5GHZ band (depending on whether you're using a/b/g/n wireless.

Should you BE using a wireless connection, then further information on your setup will help give good suggestions on how to minimise the effect.

Distance from Router/access point to machine, number and types of walls between the two antennas, other electrical devices around etc...

If you only have your one machine using wireless, you could easily make a shield out of tin/aluminium foil around the antennas much like a satalitte dish to reflect stray signals away and try to ensure only each device can get signals to the other.

Beautiful track, I have not shot anything, just tonight I tried it and I made a nice 5th place in qualifying, not bad. Perfect race behind rockets Vaughan and Tusting, unfortunate that the pit big problem, I could not find the button to confirmand even today I always finish the race at the pit. Many thanks to everyone and the next race. :Banane35:
