The Court of Appeal has decided that the penalty of 2 licence points handed to Jeffrey Rietveld by the WC Race Director is reduced to a penalty of 1.5 licence points. However, the Court rejects the appellant's request to remove the post-race time penalty. The 30 second penalty to be added to Jeffrey Rietveld's final race time stands.
