I think you had to clarify it before the race, when that was allowed last years. Also this line has nothing to pit exit line which is to prevent eventually cut directly on the track. I think we should get non-official warning for that.

I think its common sense that the line coming from the pits is the pit exit line. It will be clarified in the future, but the above pic is where I stand on the issue so take that into account at other tracks.

It's common sense to you, not to 1/3 of the other drivers when for years was allowed to cut it. Please, next time clarify special things for each track, not doing them after the race, which for me is not acceptable, like what happened with back of grid order.

actually all you cutters are lucky that it is a warning

Remember last years penalties?
This Race director in many many ways is way more lenient then we have had in the past
We are no lemmings that don,t know the rules guys come on

Some of the more experienced drivers did not cut once. Another instance, a driver was following another out of the pits but did not use the first's line, which would be a cut. Please tell me how it is fair.

My mistake for assuming everyone knows what the pit line was. I don't have the experience to know that in such and such year it was allowed. I don't care, and it is unfair to assume less experienced drivers to know that.

Honestly the rule should be that it is protestable, but not something that the RD has to go and check automatically after the race.

Really? I think they were hard only for you. All drivers have got 1st time a warning, 2nd one penalty points.

I'm not protesting against anything mate, just found it for a strange desicion to clarify it in this topic.

Interesting debate. Idk how it was in FSR last years, but in leagues where I was participating, the exit line was important only from point, where its crossing "track limit line" and entering the track... what means you can cut lines before that place as it could be normal line (so you can cross with 2 wheels only).

My former league was talking about same situation last week too. Found out, that in F1 it works the same way. They even contacted Radovan Novak - F1 steward (really, lol), they showed him this part of video:

(Time 36:04)

He replied that its totally OK.

So, this is how its going in F1 and some leagues I know. Rest its up to you...
