Race cancelled (I've already done lots of searching) query

Hi,

Basically I'm playing using OpenVR with Content Manager,CSP and Sol. I get to run one race, any mixture of content and tracks and then get the dreaded 'race cancelled' if I try to launch another session.

The only thing that seems to sort it out is verifying the local files in Steam. First time I ran it, it reaquired 26 files, now it only does 1. Any idea which file or area is the problem?
It's odd because it has no problem launching any content once but after that it won't launch again until I either reboot or verify.

May do a reinstall if I can't get to the bottom of it.

As you are one of many others with this kind of problem .... I already wonder about what might happen to cause such a problem.
As mostly the only working solution is to reboot .... I might suspect there's a process that should be stopped and that finally is not.

The only problem that I still remember I encountered was not with CM but the original launcher.
It didn't happen regularly but seldom: Ptracker app was still working while it should have been stopped.
Once its process killed in Task Manager .... the problem was solved and a new session could be started.

Did you ever check if a used AC or AC app or CM process might still be working while it shouldn't ?
