Race Data for Multiplayer? & offtrack slowdowns

Finished an online DTM 2014 race under Raceroom experience.
Since I'm new to the online thingy.....

just wondering....

1)Why doesn't the multiplayer alpha show my laptimes?
When playing as single player, I see my laptimes after each lap - not in Multiplayer though.

It's incomprehensible to me....that in a game which measures performance by laptimes.....you do not get your laptimes in multiplayer or have access to your laptimes in both multi player & single player

2) Gotta love the RANDOM offtrack slowdowns.

Oschersleben Turn 7
run off track opposite to direction of travel.
You have just lost 10 seconds and then get a slowdown penalty upon re-entering track.

Turn 8/9 Cut a chicane - going in the direction of travel get NO PENALTY at all.
Gained 3 positions passing the cars in the chicane alone.

These cut track penalties have to be sensible.
Otherwise, just give EVERYONE cut track penalties the moment track limits are exceeded in ANY CASE.

1) Because it's alpha. ;)
But seriously, you do get the lap-times, just not in a pop-up.
But they are listed in the LCD when you pass the start/finish.

2) No arguments there, mate.
It's a nice idea, but it needs to be implemented far better (and more consistently) than it is now.

ah!
My FOV is set to .6 and I cannot see my dashboard LCD
Also, it depends on which car you are driving and which mini display is used.
some mini displays do not display the laptimes

Which reminds me of another OLD BUG.
Porsche style mini display not showing the correct redline or shift points when compared to the dash LCD display.
Looks like that hasn't been fixed either.

So one of these days I'll finish a qualifying session without being rammed off course, I thought the AI was bad *facepalm*

As a matter of fact, it seems so random how slow down & cut track penalties are handed out.
S3 should just get rid of the "invalid lap" notice when you go off track.

My suggestion:
Just do an auto slow down penalty any time your car exceeds "track limits" and get rid of the "invalid lap"

If you exceed track limits and get a slow down penalty, you will never be getting an advantage so "Invalid Lap" is no longer needed. Then we can actually use our laptimes during testing. instead of seeing some "invalid lap" message and no laptime.
