Ancevski wins in photo-finish
In an incredibly close race Milos Ancevski took the win, only just beating Dovizioso and Lutz. The three of them swapped places a couple of times over the course of the race. Post-race accusations of a jump-start against Ancevski came up, but race stewards T. & K. Marshall decided everything was fine. Laad came 4th a few seconds down the line, extending his championship lead. Said, Rossello and Utzer finished 5th, 6th, and 7th, separated by a few tenths only. Rosella with yet another top 10 finish in 8th, behind him Rinneaho and Poirier. 3rd consecutive 11th place for Keranen, behind him Wolf, Engberink, Sigoulakis and Laskey. Mishra was travelling and arrived late for the start, he still managed to finish and grab a point, albeit a few laps down.
Spielberg in the beautiful Styria calls, the track formerly known as Österreichring is awaiting the drivers. No longer as fast and furious as it used to be, it still provides a challenge, even though it has only 8 corners.
The Austrian Grand Prix is GOGOGO!!!
