Race recording quality

Hi all
I usually record a "race replay" with GeForce experience (works fine with other games/sims); but with AMS the recording quality in not as good ad what you see on the screen ... any tips to improve the quality of the recording ?

I realize you may not want to stream your game, but I use game streaming software to record to my hard drive... might be worth a try! They are all FREE.

I use "OBS Studio" to record to my local hard drive in 4K
- there's a setting for 4K 60fps, but it's very laggy & jittery
- 4K 30fps capture works great, as does 1080 60fps
- that is frame capture rate of cap'd vid - my games run 90~180fps

It is a FREE open source tool and you can find all the tutorials you need on youtube, like understanding screen / app / desktop recording vs game capture, etc.

obs studio tutorial

OBS Studio is a little resource heavy (cpu / gpu usage).

Streamlabs is based on OBS (because it is open source) w/ added features & claimed optimizations

Gamecaster gave me the least resource "suckage" but didn't have 4K streaming so I tried Streamlabs...

In the end, I can't stream 4K even with 750down/50up mbps, so I just stream 1080 60fps OR record 4K to my hard drive then upload to youtube.

Another - simpler - option is the XBOX GAME BAR for WINDOWS
~ I don't use it to record (too simple / no options I need)
~ I use it to see FPS for my games that are NOT on Steam
