trying to do a rece weekend on the suzuka circuit but it keeps crashing back to main menu i have installed the mod correctly as i have got many other mods to work dont know why its doing this with this one anyone help???

Assuming you're talking about Malagoli's Suzuka mod, there is no pit lane AI file, so the game cannot load the AI cars into the pit and therefore the race weekend mode doesn't work. Quickrace should be fine as long as no pitstops are necessary. Your options are:
1) Google for the the pitlane.ai file, I know I found it somewhere. Maybe even here on RD, but I'm not sure.
2) Enable dev apps and use the AI app to create the AI pit lane by yourself
3) Try another Suzuka mod, there are twio or three out there in total.
