RaceDepartment Veteran Takes To The Track

RaceDepartment regular Craig Patteson is to be on track in the real world today, racing in his own superkart machine at the 2016 Unite the Union Hillclimb Championship. This will also be the first event with the car sporting a RaceDepartment sticker on its side.

He has been racing superkarts since 2006 in Guernsey events, doing hillclimb and sprint events. His motivation to do superkarts came after his brother passed away back in 2005, with Craig currently racing alongside his dad who races his own car, a 600cc Jedi Suzuki.

His passion for motor racing can be clearly seen within his family, who have been in the racing scene since the early 90's. Craig currently races regularly at Automobilista racing club events at RaceDepartment, as well as racing in the current season of the RaceDepartment Mini Challenge.

Superkarts are so much fast then my KZ1 Shifter kart lol.
I believe they were even faster in monaco then Red Bull RB7

I believe they were even faster in monaco then Red Bull RB7

top speed aprox. 230 - 240 km/h
as fast or even litle faster then moto gp at Assen 1 sec or so

That's something different then 140 kmh.
But do Superkarts accelerate faster then a KZ1/2? (2.3 to 100/60)
