Racer with Windows 7

Does Racer work with windows 7? If so which is the best version to use with windows 7. Thanks

Define "works". And what GPU do you have..? If it is a mid-range computer,
then go for 0815, it is the last Racer version I could run on Win7-Ent. 64bit
without major issues (I have an ATI x600 GPU).

I have Windows 7 and the only problems I have are with the game, not my machine or system.

I have Win 7 Home Premium 64bit and Racer seems to work with CG on my laptop (NV 220M GPU) except the last version 08.19 where everything is too light even on carlswood track;/

Also pressing ESC key (when I want to exit race and get to the main menu) shuts down the game to the desktop. It might be the game's fault because in 0.63 everything is ok.

Currently I play 08.17 ver. and it's working quite well

That's just a feature enabled in the betas, if there are any errors or warnings it'll exit to show them.

You can disable it in racer.ini via dev.log_last=0 if you just want to play. Or go through the car/track and fix the errors it's complaining about.
