RaceRoom – Drivers Pack DLC Announced

KW Studios (formerly Sector 3 Studios) has announced the Drivers Pack, scheduled for this December: it is a pack of cars (and a track) designed to gradually accompany drivers from rookie cars to the fastest and most powerful cars.

In fact, the pack will contain the very latest version of a classic of the rookie class, the Mazda MX5 which is also in reality the first racing car for many young drivers. Two cars from Crosslé follow, a Northern Irish manufacturer that many may not know, but which has been operating since the 1950s (among the most famous to have driven for this brand are Nigel Mansell, Eddie Irvine and Eddie Jordan). These are the Crosslé 90F, a classic open wheel car, and the 9S, a sports car also inspired by the classic sports-racing cars of the 50s and 60s. Closely linked to the Crosslé is the Clermont-Ferrand circuit, now used in the Crosslé driving school.

The last car is the Praga R1, which in terms of power and downforce recalls a prototype car, brought to the fore by the well-known content creator Jimmy Broadbent who participated and triumphed in the Praga Cup. In the coming weeks, the team will reveal more details about the Pack and the cars, on how these were made both visually and in terms of driving physics.

Over the next couple of weeks, KW Studios will bring us more information on each of the four cars included in the release, how they have modeled them and brought the physics to life, plus some recommendations on how to drive them.
