Sector3 Studios have deployed a new build release of RaceRoom Racing Experience today, adding plenty of nice changes to the awesome simulation.
  • New build update out now.
  • Various car specific tweaks.
  • Dedicated server option updates.
Another new build for the excellent RaceRoom Racing Experience simulation has dropped to Steam recently, and with it the Sector3 Studios development team have applied a wide-ranging number of tweaks and improvements to the title, not least of which is the new addition of BOP restriction options for dedicated server hosts, handing more options to race event organizers within the sim.

Other nice improvements that form part of this latest build release include a very large collection of car specific improvements including cockpit sound updates for the new Megane TCR car, plus AI behaviour tweaks on certain track layouts.

A few months ago there was that big update that changed the tyres, and saved the game for me after a year of feeling bad. But only some classes got the updated tyres. Any idea if the gtr2 and gtr1 classes have been updated yet?

Not yet. The current newest tire-model is v4.1
The GT1s are on V1, and the GT2s are on V2
Complete list here (from Dec. 2020): Click here
And an explanation of the differences in the models here: Click here

Sector3, where can I post a suggestion, being:
neutral gear prevention when downshifting (car not stopped)?

RR just keeps getting better
thanks and keep up the excelent work

Did they ever run that livery on the E92 M3? I associate it with the E36 and E46. In fact, I don't think Team PTG, the team that used that livery, even ran the E92 for BMW. It looks good on the E92 though!

Hopefully, the high speed damper tweaks will help prevent the ridiculous amount of cars from rolling over from curbs.
Yet if this was happening to everyone it would be a much more common complaint. I simply don't see this is any racing I do. I've rolled a WTCR once, and that was 100% my own fault. Perhaps look at how you're driving rather than blaming the car?

My driving quit possible....but when I see top leaderboard and esport drivers from our WTCR league rolling and they have no explanation for why.....I feel it should be something to look into.
WTCR cars hammer curbing. I can't say I've seen too many drive on 2 wheels for 100ft + and or roll in RL.

Does it happen all the time....no? but when it does it's very odd.
For further proof just visit the Raceroom home page on steam.....there are endless amounts of videos

Which are the people most often abusing curbs so of course it is going to happen to them more often. ;) I didn't mean your driving as in your overall ability, I mean the way people who roll the cars are taking corners. Yes, WTCR cars do hammer curbs... but not all of them and not all of the time. You can see real drivers in any class of racing mounting some curbs and avoiding others like the plague, and for good reason.

Loving the updated Tatuus F4. Raced it recently so a direct comparison was possible, and while I thought it was good before, it's definitely better now. Don't have any issues with the sound being too quiet either, though I don't use default audio settings so perhaps that's why.
