Raceroom steering issue?

Hi dudes,

Finally doing some proper AI races on my day off and I have am issue with something in Raceroom.
I've noticed on many occasions, that when I am hit, slightly, by an AI car, my steering wheel is stuck at a slight angle, for the rest of the race. Nothing hit me from the front, just a little love tap on the a$$ and my steering is pretty much knackered for the remainder of the session. It's really annoyed me today. I've come across it in the past, Raceroom only, and never really thought much of it. But it ruined my race today and my motivation to continue driving with it.

Anyone with an OSW, or any other wheel, felt this happen to them? I had Fanatec gear before and never noticed it. But I have never really done much other than race alone for the longest time so I may just never have come across it with the CSW.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Happens to me using my T500RS as well, I just presumed it was an over reactive damage model lol, drove around quite a lot with my wheel @ 45 degree's just to go straight..ish.

Try changing the damage effect to 0% in the effects at the bottom of the force feedback menu. Seems to have had an effect for me. Done 2 races and no ill effects with many bumps.

Hmm... never noticed this with my CSW but then, I'm not sure what my damage effect is set to. BTW - I spend a good chunk of my sim racing time in R3E.
