Races with No decals on cars?

how many of you run races with plain cars? I don't think their are many. If so ,why so many cars in AC without any markings at all?

Lots of the original default skins have no decals, later Kunos started to add 'customer' skinners schemes to the game.
Also, if a server has downloaded skins and you have also downloaded the same ones they will show if your online.

AC is more focused on "driving" simulation than "racing", hence why there's an abundance of street/road cars. For example, if you were talking about R3E then the reverse would be true - most of the car content (maybe all) have racing skins, very few if any cars without decals.
