Hi WT233,
would you consider the following suggestions for a future update of your config?
  • Since there's already an extensive ext_config.ini packaged with the track itself, it would be better to publish your config as a separate file instead of duplicating the original file to avoid conflicts with any future updates of the track. People can then either copy the RAIN_FX block into the existing ext_config directly or reference it via an include statement, for example:
    INI:
    [INCLUDE: ext_config.rainfx.ini]
    ACTIVE = 1
  • It is very unlikely that there will be any puddles forming on the mountains or sand surfaces in general and in Dubai in particular. Sand (grass, gravel, etc.) surfaces should be added to the ROUGH_MATERIALS list instead of SOAKING/PUDDLES_MATERIALS (official docs: https://github.com/ac-custom-shaders-patch/acc-extension-config/wiki/Tracks-–-RainFX)
