My question is how do I enable rain spray from wheels, for the life of me I can't find the answer

I actually wanted to know if was possible to disable it (for one car in particular) - so I am also curious if there is an answer.

It's possible that to get the spray you need CSP generated rain tyres?
If you don't get to select them: "pack data" in CM car management tool. This will make a single file of the "data" subfolder, which is a requirement for RainFX

Otherwise this video gives a nice explanation of settings to adjust

ATM spray occurs only with puddles on the track.

Not sure what you mean with regards to pack data. Even with rain tyres on I don't see spray from cars in front.

I guess if you do get the rain tyres the packing is ok. If you go into 'manage car', down in the middle there's buttons: pack & unpack data, which means compressing a set of configuration files into 1 file (data.acd) or vice versa.
Do you see a spray from your own car in a replay?
