Tracks RainFx Track configs

[VHF]

Since the RainFx is available with the latest CSP previews, we all need some track config files to enjoy this amazing water effects so wanted in Assetto Corsa.

You can now have the RainFx works with ;

• Monza
• Vallelunga
• Zandvoort
• Paul Ricard

The configs are validated and available on CSP Track Config option via Github repo.

We're already working on some others ofc, but If you need a specific track config, just post a request here

RainFX is 'feature complete' now though isn't it, so track configs can be confidently created (unless I've misinterpreted something)? This might be a good way to get more publicity for the feature and get more people signed up for Ilja's Patreon.

Actually you’re a bit in late mate, have a look to the wiki page of CSP RainFx, the doc will give you some informations about what you can do for now. If we were so much in advance, I guess our configs coudn’t be validated and available directly in the github repo.

There‘s a lot of news in the latest CSP preview (32) :

• Non-working wipers fixed (by temporary disabling one of features, but it wasn’t that important; going to investigate why it was breaking wipers);
• Various stability issues at launch fixed;
• Windscreen drops fixed (main change, tiny drops are back now);
• Black raindrops in VR fixed;
• Broken clipping with Graphics Adjustments in VR fixed;
• Skinned wipers now supported as well;
• Rainbow look fixed and improved, now it should be visible with default WeatherFX script (visible always, but that will be improved a bit later, with coming WeatherFX integration).

The bug with black squares still, but Ilja works on it for sure ^^

You need the private version of CSP

Available on Ilja's Patreon page.

Then you'll have the RainFx option in Custom Shader Patch

and the tracks configs will automatically works with (assuming you've selected auto install)
