I just want to post what I want more from the F1 2016 game, i.e. what I dream of in F1 2017.
Actually it is just one thing (except for new drivers and maybe som tweaking and some small bug fixes), and that is random damage and malfunctions for the player. The AI somtimes has it, but never the player. Back in F1 2014 one could get a malfunctioning DRS, but I've never had anything more than that. Back in the days of F1 GP on Atari on the other hand, then I could race 79 laps of Monaco and then have an engine failure - and I just loved it! It really becomes more of the real thing. I compare it to the safety car. Some think that it ruins the racing for the innocent player, but others (like me) thinkt it adds to the dynamic, the strategy, and adds some welcome randomness and not least *realism*.
