Kamui: "I had a little collision with my team-mate at the start of the race, but on the next lap I completely lost control and then aquaplaned and had a big crash into the first corner. My car got severely damaged but I am okay from the impact of the crash. I'll have some medical checks after the race has ended."
Felipe: "I saw Kamui trying to go down on the inside of me. The attempt failed and then he hit me on the rear, and I thought I would continue because the team mistakenly thought I could be able to continue. They realised I couldn't, so I retired the car."
Nitro's manager: "Our chassis level hasn't been an improvement since we started last season. Both these drivers expected the car to be better than it was last season, but it turned out to be a backmarker again. We should improve the chassis for the next few races."
