Do the boost levels actually make a difference for P1? My top speed remained the same whether I used boost 3 or boost 10, although the fuel consumption does seem to be higher on 10.

You'll notice it more in acceleration than in topspeed. Aerodynamics have a far greater effect on topspeed than the amount of power the engine delivers.

But yes, the boost levels work.
