The WRT #1 car of Oscar Hardwick claimed victory in style at Buenos Aires and displayed worryingly quick pace both in qualifying and the race. However the chasing pack was closely matched and with the unforgiving close proximity of concrete walls that line the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, we are sure to be in for a few surprises.
The Canadian street circuit plays host to the Canadian Grand Prix on the Formula One calendar and regularly provides some of the best racing seen over the course of a Formula One season. With ultra high speeds and heavy braking zones, drivers will need to set their cars to reach great speeds whilst not overcooking the brakes over the course of a race stint.
Don't Forget!
We have a viewers competition where you (yes, you!) can go into the running to win a brand new Thrustmaster T300RS Force Feedback Racing Wheel.
Each round will feature a viewers choice question. Each question will ask for a letter and at the end of the season that letter will spell a word. Once the season is complete, send your final answer to our RaceDepartment account. From there a winner will be chosen via a random number through random.org.
Watch Round Two Live!
The live broadcast will commence for the start of the qualification session on Saturday 19:30 GMT. In the commentary bunker once again will be the fantastic trio of Thomas Hinss, R.J. O'Connell and Lorenzo Bonder to guide you through qualifying and the race and of course, ask that all important competition question!
Head over to our Twitch TV channel or our own livestream chatbox here at RD to watch the race as 30 of the top sim racers battle it out for ultimate glory and chat with fellow racers as the action unfolds before you.
Download the two beautiful spotter guides made by @alexSchmurtz that will help you to look out for your favorite drivers while you sit back and relax.
