Thanks very much for the setup Richard/Ingemar.

Did some 'race spec' laps and seemed to be going rather slowly. I noticed I wasn't revving especially high (but high enough (ratio-wise) for a normal/touring car to get it's peak power). So I shortened 5th and immediately went a second quicker lol. Then I discovered that the Della Penna's peak power was at 14500!! The thing only revs to 14700!

I'm having to learn quickly lol.

Another thing for you guys, it takes around a lap for your pit crew to get ready so make sure you request those pitstops well in advance!

Will we be running full yellows during the RD500? Any idea on a timescale yet?

that's a shame. Full course yellows are ace in oval racing, especially double file. You can have a sucky day but every now and then someone gives you opportunity to go up top and pretend your winning

When are the dates Dave? Or is that moderator-only knowledge at the moment?


BTW if you wish to figure out your lap time in MPH a la real life IRL then this is the equation - (3600/Laptime)*2.5. Multiply that number by 1.609 to get KPH.

Don´t know wheather it´s posted.
Where can i get the mod and track. I´m interested but before i sign up i wanted to test this mod .-)

The mod is decided but we are discussing the track choice still to be honest. It can be indianapolis but we are open for another track: original build, no conversion!
