What to pick, what to pick... Chevy and Pantera are obviously out for me :D

BMW default, Escort perhaps, and still have to try the Alfa and the Nissan. Not much confidence in the Alfa, them and I don't play nice together.

In the end, might go for any one of those with a brown skin :inlove:

The Alfa is nice Senad, I find it stable. The Escort is nice and light, the Beemer & I don't get on well and the Nissan likes to bite me. :O_o: I like the Panty, but can I concentrate that hard for a whole race ?? And the Vette...I'll leave that to Ian!;)

Sorry to be a pain Stuart, but I can't see a Escort or Beemer template anywhere( though the Alfa and Nissan templates are in their folders)

BMW default

It's not the default BMW Senad, it's the newer version of the CS2800 mod.

It feels a bit more taut, more racey than the previous one, that's the best way I can describe it. It's very nice to drive, though.

Ivo is right - the white Pantera is quite stable. The challenge is managing that defining understeer while not over stressing the tyres.

Agreed - the default ones are both:

"understeer,understeer,understeer,understeer,understeer,OVERSTEER!"

Which can get quite tedious.

This one is a lot more progressive in how the tyres break away, so it gives you half a chance.

I dealt with that all of S4 lol! But the 2800 is a blessing. I find it's the easiest car to drive at the limit for me. The tires let go gradually, so you have time to react.

My second fav is the Panty, just love that torque. I sure wish the dampers were adjustable though, it would be easier to set up.

Narrowed my selection down to 4 now;

Pantera isn't my cup of tea really, i'm not particularly a fan of the mid-engined cars in GTL, the Pantera and the GT40 just feel a bit vague to me. Also, i've never really enjoyed the Escort, so that's ruled out.

As for the rest, the Beemer feels ok generally, the Skyline feels a bit nimbler but has a sting in the tail when i've pushed it, the Alfa is surprisingly well sorted (never driven it before), while the 'Vette leads to muchos skidmarks. I can't choose between them at the moment, they're very close over all criteria so it's looking good for a very competitive season.

Well, since I've already signed up, then I guess it's ok to show what my car looks like for this season. I bet a few of you already knew it would be black and yellow lol.
