It says Mandatory from 14/05/2012 00h00, so you should install it.

I'll try and keep the current version as long as I can, because of skins:
New 3D for Ford Focus (A8W-08, A8W-09 and A8W-10) by Maximum
Old skins applied on these cars are not supported
