I realize this is a sacrilegious request on a SimRacing site, so I will put on my fire suit by first loudly saying I am an iRacing addict and that the sim-racing world has been going downhill ever since GPL (is that good enough?).
I'm looking for a physics-be-damned racing game that is just plain fun. Years ago I used to play the NFS/Test Drive games once in a while just for laughs, but once I switched to split pedals and a DD wheel, it became hard to find an arcade-style racer that would run properly.
Can the RD community recommend a fun arcade racer like something from the Need For Speed series that will run on VR, high-end pedals and DD wheel and (even better, but not absolutely necessary) has telemetry for motion? Does it exist?
