Is there some way to remove all the red arrows when racing ? I use Crewchief 4 and find the arrows very distracting ! Forgot I'm using the current 1.8 patch, thanks......

Open the Proximity_indicators.ini
Change the 0 to 1 and save.

HIDE=1

If it is what I think you are referring to try the proximity_indicator.ini in system\cfg. Change to Hide=1
