Old record was done by Mclaren at the German GP last year.
All of Webber´s stops in Malaysia essentially broke the record.

2,13 - Vettel
2,13 - Webber
2,05 - Webber
2,21 - Webber
2.26 - Webber

2,31 - Button (old record)

Not long until we start seeing sub 2 second stops.

Thing is Mr A....is that with speed comes mistakes.....

I love coming first, but sometime a slower time can be more satisfying.

And about the topic: just wow.
We could see teams like Force India or McLaren having problems in pit-stops. Let's see if they get rid of their problems with the wheel nuts.

McLaren would win a lot more if they go for consistent 3 second pitstops.

Personally I hope they will change the rules on F1 pistops in the future. Instead of 25 people getting rid of the tires and the wings apply the "le mans style" pitstop where only two superman mechanics do the job. Then it would be really a pitstop based on skills.

Heck, even make it one mechanic only

Imagine Vettel coming into the pits and Newey or Horner waiting there with wheel guns and fresh tires

THAT would make the team principals A LOT more involved in the race

Here´s the stop. I got it to 1,8 but i think the change of camera angle has something to do with it.

Yeah, 1.8 isn't correct. If you watch frame by frame, you'll see a big difference between the last frame of Onboard and first frame of TV Camera.

I would like to see 3 second minimum rule. I do admit that the pitrace is thrilling in it's own but that would improve consistency and might be safer for all involved.

Good spot, you can see the jack man particularly. That´s where the 0.25 tenths are hiding.

Would have loved to see the full exterior shot as it shows of it the best imo.
